You dont need to answer a call or message, PERIOD. EVER.
Pull over somewhere safe or let the passenger answer. 2 minutes will not cause the world to end even in a true emergency.
My car doesn't need to talk to my phone either. If I absolutely must have polka, I carrry a stick that plugs in. (Rant off)
