I used the standard size. I would estimate it to be 3/8 wide and cut with pinking shears.
The zigzag tape dramatically reduces the wind noise at the front A pillars. It also causes the side window to be blown completely free of water drops. They are still on the car so I believe they work.
The rear wheel skirts are still off but I will likely rework them and reinstall at a future date.
I have been very happy with the aero mods over the last 13,000km.
