I searched the article and found one instance of the word geopolymer

That's the term of art. Rock is generally either sedimentary, metamorphic or igneous. Sedimentary would be easy, metamorphic would require pressure and heat (like a Cinva-Ram press?) but less than igneous which would be like a fired ceramic.
The Egyptians also made bottles out of diorite by the thousands. Not sure how they did that diorite is hard.
