I thought the supercharger idea was cool until I saw they charge $0.28/kwh. Only three times more expensive than electricity in my area, but better than nothing. I still really don't see EV's taking over as the grid would need to be huge, and then the energy would just come indirectly from "clean coal."
I did the calculations and my 22k miles/yr would consume the same amount of electricity as my house.
