I also guarantee PayPal level security isn't that great if people had physical access to the computer and all it's inputs like they do on the Tesla they own.

Jail breaking an iPhone is an excellent example. No doubt Apple has better security than Tesla and it generally takes a matter of days before someone has hacked a new update to allow the phone to do things that Apple doesn’t allow
The difference is that there are millions of iPhone users so there is a huge incentive to hack iPhones
