I have yet to see proof of anyone hacking Tesla's core software. AFAIK anything but the browser and sensors is immune so far.
Unlike VW for instance.
The Apple analogy does not apply. Apple has a software store and allows hundreds of thousands of developers to write software for it, so its system and tools are widely known and available. Tesla has no such thing going.
