He's not wrong. I love all the gadgets but the base msrp on most vehicles is very high now.
ie: back-up cameras, bluetooth, big screens, parking sensors, collision radar system, adaptive automatic headlights, wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, electric seat adjustment, rain sensing wipers etc...
Seems like most base models include pretty much all of these options these days.
If you want a super base model black model 3 with short range and self-driving capability that is $46,000. *sticker shock*
On the bright side though the Toyota Corolla Hybrid comes standard with pretty much all of it and can be partnered with a Comma AI unit for some pretty good self driving.
