Our ethanol free unleaded 91 octane (no they don't add lead to it) is about $.20/gallon more than the premium 91 octane which is $.20/gallon more than the least expensive 87 octane. Exxon, Conoco, Sinclair, and others all sell it but not every station.
More than anything older snow machines and outboard motors really need it. You put even the 10% stuff in something made 20 years ago by Bombardier or even Mercury and it will melt the inside of the fuel lines, gum up in the filter, lean out the motor under power, and seize a piston.
