On the bright side though the Toyota Corolla Hybrid comes standard with pretty much all of it and can be partnered with a Comma AI unit for some pretty good self driving.

Don't forget, some of those are federally mandated, like the backup camera.
I want an EV with no gadgets, manual locks, manual seat adjustment, roll-up windows, basic/no sound system, and no nannies (especially traction control, which I had never experienced until I bought the Prius--and which I hate). But in order to get that, I'd have to build it myself.
