Edit: bundles of stacked discounts from the OK dealer, that price isn't real.
Oh, good! You can go on a scenic drive. That's wonderful! Yes, dealers are dealers. They ain't goin' ta give no good deals, ifn they can squeeze ya for more loot. But now you have a low-ball price. Go after it. First, don't tell them you know the internet low price. Second, you can call one of the sales-people now & begin haggling on the phone? Tell them its the wrong color AND you have to drive so far(don't tell them how far). Third, don't talk with anyone, when you walk on the dealer lot at the end of the month with a paper, comparing other potential purchases. Have a pencil to add information, like serial numbers & identification codes. Papers, pencils & writing scare sales-people so they hand you off to a more experienced sales-person. Tell them, you can find a better deal with a competitor that is further away..... tell them you can get a great deal on a Toyota, which have better colors than Hyundai (true, Hyundai colors are NOT the best)! Is the deal on a manual tranny Elantra? If you don't buy it, it might sit on their lot for a long time. That's what I told them & they sold a bottom-low priced manual Elantra to me, as it was rolled off the semi, not even washed yet.
