My first dryer was on the side of the road in 2002 with a sign saying "FREE". It did fine until spring 2018, when my washer died and I got a washer and dryer from CL for $150. That dryer is the one that died last week.
I'd like to think that my free 2002 dryer would still be going if I had kept it, but I'm not into these things for that much money.
