So I got side tracked and ended up wanting to try something else... my lower grille block is made just from layer upon layer of black strapping tape and nothing else... I wanted to do something about that, as since I left my place of employment about a month ago I no longer have an endless supply of the tape with which to repair the grille block lol...

I grabbed a small sheet of coroplast and cut two 5x36” pieces, attached them together in the middle with zip ties and hot melt and cut out the hole for the grille opening... did some reinforcing around the opening with some copper wire inserted in the fluting in the material and I now have a prototype...

I plan to use 45 screws or so to hold it to the car so hopefully it’s on there for good lol... the one question remains though, should I paint it to match the car (making the car stand out even more) or should I paint it black?
