I stole that acronym from a boat enthusiast I used to work with. But his was like you described: Fiberglass with a 4.3 Merc 2-stroke inboard. In the 2 years he's had it he's had to patch the hull and repaint twice, and rebuild/replace the motor 3 times, and the lower unit at least once.
I actually know very little about boats, but I prefer the bicycles of the boat world. My wife likes Kayaks, I'm fond of canoes.
