Cal Looker would be a Porsche India Red '67 and have BRM or Fuchs five-spokes, Lucas front turn signals, Italian door mirrors and plaid inserts in the low-back seats.

At one time I had a 1964 Clark Cortez motorhome. It had front-wheel drive and a Chrysler slant six. I thought the design was iconic and ahead of it's time but JACG has found a Tempo Matador Mikafa Sport Camper that has a Porsche flat four and front-wheel drive:
