Widowmaker?

I've driven VW for five decades and I've never seen such a jack.

Here's four pages on VW jacks. The first page alone shows different jacks for the Types I, II and III, with six for the Type II alone.

Also, I heard about someone who had a Tiguan or something that the electric gas flap wouldn't open and there is no mechanical release.
