I'd need to see proof of that, because I don't believe they were going new for $7k. Cheapest car you could get back then was at least $12k.

Can't speak for all Acuras, but the TSX has an impressive reliability record. My 2006 so far has needed a set of tires, wiper inserts, and I changed the gearbox oil a couple years ago along with yearly oil changes. I've knocked the dust out of the air filter about once a year too. Oh, it's on the 2nd battery too.

Anyhow, this would have been 2009, and I'm sure she paid whatever the dealer offered because that's the type of person she was. She could "afford" it, and that's all that matters.
