In a manuel - NICE-on ( Neutral - ICE ON) is less effective that EOC (Engine Off Coasting) in "MOST" cases from data i have collected over the past 6 months or so.
But NICE-on is better than Coasting in gear ( unless you are at the sweet spot for Fuel Cut off). From what i can tell - my Altima does not have Fuel C/O - so for me it is EOC.
Sure there are times where the situation is such that i NICE-on - heavy traffic - or someone acting "Crazy" near me and i want to have that protection of being able to move quickly -
I think the "Waste of time" needs to be viewed as - Waste of time compared to WHAT?
