That will grow less food per unit of manpower hour and per MWh. The current factory farming using giant liquid fueled tractors, fossil carbon fueled and feedstocked fertilizer and GMO crops is what has allowed the human population to balloon and is the most productive way to farm. Anything that follows will be less productive.
