Efficient drivers drive as though they don't have brakes (braking kills MPG!), and mods will do no good unless you do the driver mod, so they should be fine unless you go racing around and braking everywhere, in which case mods aren't going to help your MPG at all..
Seems like that is a rare occurrence for most people with these covers. I'm still undecided of I want to do this on any of my vehicles. I'm thinking that performance rotors (the ones with holes) might mitigate the extra heat.
