But, methane when they are eating grass makes NO CHANGE in the long run to the atmosphere. Cows have existed for millions of years, and the carbon cycle is in balance.

WE produce methane when we digest food. Methane decays into carbon dioxide in a relatively short while - and since that is underway constantly, it makes no difference, in the long run.
