The 6 mile drive warmed up the transmission some, I wonder if I could turn a drain plug into a transmission heater.

I hope you got the good oil for $30, a good filter for $12 and new plugs for $2 each and chucked the old stuff in the trash.
Seriously though I won't miss basic maintenance when I cross over. Must be nice!
