I hear you. I took my car off the road for a couple days to figure out how to relocate the battery to the trunk because my completely failing deep cycle battery was making me run the alternator all the time. I think I'll surely have the car back on the road tonight. With a new 60 amp hour deep cycle battery and a sturdier decklid spoiler, I'm hoping I'll get that extra 0.4 MPG that I needed last time to get up over 70.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
