The Wally Minto 'Wonder Wheel',operates on as little as a few degrees difference between the 'boiler' and condenser,using refrigerants as the working fluid.They turn at very low rpm,with 'torque' as their primary attribute,and are typically geared up for more useful power.
It's the only low delta-T engine I've seen.
