That graph ends 2 years ago (and we've already seen it several time to boot), also it puts everything on a global scale. If you take recent data and zoom in on countries like Sweden you'll find renewables can and do make up a large part of the energy market.
But not enough yet. It must grow big time.
Also, we need to electrify the transport sector. That would reduce its power consumption 2 to 3 times for the same utility.
