BotRide is here! A pilot program available on November 4, SoCal customers who sign up can hail an EV Hyundai Kona with the smartphone app. The algorithms can pick up multiple riders to share the ride. The app directs riders designated pickup and drop off sites. The pilot program will have two operators; one on the steering wheel, brake and accelerator pedals, watching the driving operations, and another in the passenger seat monitoring the AI operating systems. The operators can take over and shut off the system if necessary.
