Yes, that's exactly what I had been doing for the last 2 years since I bought the car. Clutch switch turned on almost all the time, and then I have an Auto-Stop I would use for Engine-Off Coast. The IMA motor would restart the car, but I never otherwise used assist.

But the pack got worse and worse, and so recently I removed it so that at least I'd save some weight. The new LTO setup changes the game completely.

Electricity is cheap here, and at most I could expect to only put 1 or 2 kilowatt hours into it. But I haven't got this setup yet.
