This brings up a point about pollution.

S can be gotten out of fuel, and is sold at over 300€/ton for industrial purposes
Pollutants are simply misplaced. In another situation, they have monetary value. The information technology we have in place today should allow us to trade and sell Sulfur, CO2, etc.

Another is to turn the pollutant into something of value. A young fellow at church is a graduate chemical engineering student. His team is taking CO2 and turning it into plastic which allowed them to build a Lego block. Imagine a power plant producing electricity and spitting out . . . Lego blocks!
