In the EU, the S-content in diesel is 10 mg/kg
That's 10mg / 1.000.000 mg
0,5% of 1.000.000 would be 5.000 mg/kg of fuel
That new norm would still be 500x worse than regular diesel !
S can be gotten out of fuel, and is sold at over 300€/ton for industrial purposes

This brings up a point about pollution.

Pollutants are simply misplaced. In another situation, they have monetary value. The information technology we have in place today should allow us to trade and sell Sulfur, CO2, etc.
Another is to turn the pollutant into something of value. A young fellow at church is a graduate chemical engineering student. His team is taking CO2 and turning it into plastic which allowed them to build a Lego block. Imagine a power plant producing electricity and spitting out . . . Lego blocks!

Imagine the Lego set of a power plant that makes Legos!

What, like functional? A Lego brick building factory built out of Lego bricks?
Sounds fantastic, but I doubt it would be possible.
My eggplant does not lay eggs either.

Well, not out of ordinary Lego plastic!
I was thinking a kit like this, except with Lego decals all over, because the power plant makes Legos:
[I do not have any idea how a Lego power plant would look, but people only make nuclear Lego power plants for some reason]

The link does not show, are you sure you put all bricks in the right positions?

It's the logical next step from this: a Lego set that builds Lego sets.
Machine Made of Lego Builds Anything You Want – Out of Lego
