That seems like a rather confining definition of off-road. Places Jeeps can get to.
I didn't see any Jeeps, but here's a not-Kubelwagen. It was all aluminum, even the fenders. Neither the
Type 82 Kubelwagen nor the
Type 181 (Trekker/Thing/Safari) had the recessed spare tire or the suicide two-doors.
It would run away and hide from a Jeep in sand dunes or on The Salt. It would literally disappear in a mirage. Bonneville is like another planet.
