There was something that I wanted to share, but I didn't get to it. Was it that our garage door got messed up on a Friday evening and I was positive that Mom would need to replace it that Monday, but I fixed it Saturday morning with a hammer (and other basic hand tools)?

In four and a half years I have always gotten my progress reports done on-time, but it is always nice to make the deadline and have it behind me. Unfortunately, I was sick the week that I would have written them for the school where I work, and I was unable to work on them over Christmas break, but I wrote them in about a day once I was back to work.

Those were long days!

Mom was out of town for four days and I took care of my brother. It was extra work, but I got him to bed earlier than Mom did, nobody watched any Hallmark, and neither of us were blamed for anything the entire time she was away!

Now for the bad. I was trying to do paperwork, but apparently there was a girl next door with what I call "Humming Tourettes." She was constantly going "Mmmm mmmmmmm mmm" as she worked and for some reason I was unable to get anything done. When the student left and stopped humming I asked the teacher, who said the student does not even know she is making the noise.

I couldn't ignore it!
