The E that must not be named put a price on the vehicle for which everyone with half a working brain knew it could not be made. It all was a lie-o.
Lightyear put a hefty price on their car - and got hundreds of people committing to put that much money down for it. I have little doubt that they can build the car for that money, so it will likely be built and sold.
