Glad you're getting it sorted out so quickly, though.

How did it happen? Did you learn anything? (Not trying to be a jerk or trying to add insult to injury... just a former driving instructor here.)

I once bumped a car at walking speeds in a snowy parking lot - the driver ahead of me turned across a lane of cross-traffic and then stopped for no reason (I think he was confused about whether he just made a wrong turn). It was a 100% unexpected stop (still my fault), and I was going too fast for conditions/didn't leave enough following distance. If I'd been going 3 km/h instead of 4 km/h, we wouldn't have touched! No damage, luckily.

I like the idea of re-using that fender for the pre-existing colour matching.
