I met a cute girl for breakfast and we had a great chat. It was kind of weird that her mom was there, but since I asked out the mom in the first place...

Why didn't she tell me that she was bringing her daughter?

Why did she keep using her phone?

It is cool. We have dated on and off for five and a half years. Well, we had two dates right after my dad passed away, which she does not remember it at all. Then today.

When our garage door broke I realized the door into the garage didn't latch. After breakfast I bought some chisels and relocated the strike plate.

Hopefully the house keeps warm air a little better!

Now to pick something else from my increasingly-long to-do list...

I do not like how I fixed the latch. I needed to move the plate so much that I needed a longer screw to reach through the latch... hole.

There is not much wood back there, but I do not know what to do. I tried to trim a tiny piece of wood to glue in there, but would it hold a screw?
