I once read "Most people think their kids are smarter than average, which is statistically impossible," but I cannot find the source now.

My other favorite quote is "Standardized tests merely measure your ability to take standardized tests."

I cannot find that source either!

I was 92nd percentile on the SAT, 99th on the ASVAB, and something like 80th on the GRE. That doesn't sound very good, but the average GRE score of students accepted into the grad school where I applied is around 40th percentile.
