Cattle have not existed on farms for millions of years. We've genetically modified nearly everything we farm to yield more of what we want, either through breeding those desirable traits, or by genetic engineering.

We have this absurd assumption that nature is perfect and good for humans, meanwhile doing everything we can to avoid being subjected to the cruelty of nature. Whether or not something is natural, has existed for a long time or not, is "organic" or not... has nothing to do with how beneficial it might be to humans.
