I'm trying to get some tiny house enthusiasts to run some numbers on competitive designs. It's hard and they're the 'enthusiasts'.
The problem is you can't retrofit, it needs to be new construction. Passive solar space heating, passive solar ventilation, solar water heating, photovoltaic microgrid.... It's all too much for a conventional remodel.
