Broadly speaking, I too find Michelin to be at the head of the pack for LRR tires if you're looking for something with good all-around stats. I go for Nokian for winter tires, probably not a factor for you. The Bridgestones that came on the 2000 Insight have some pretty amazingly low rolling resistance, but it was at the expense of the tire having a relatively short life, high noise, a rough ride, and relatively low wet and dry grip. Which was perfectly fine for me, I just took it easy when it was raining and enjoyed the excellent fuel economy.
