Car’s have such a different life depending on where they live. I am on the West coast and we do not use road salt. My 2002 Saturn L200 has 230,000 miles on it and will see 1/4 million miles this year. My 2006 Lincoln Navigator is very close to 200,000 miles and I have no plans to ever replace either vehicle. I did replace the rear hatch on the Lincoln because the paint started to bubble around the license plate. The hatch is aluminum and I am sure it was a test for the new aluminum Ford trucks.
There are still Geo Metros here. They have 250,000 miles on them but they still have frame horns.
