Not quite. She said if the Trump administration had warned New Orleans of the true threat posed by COVID 19 Carnival would have been cancelled.
Carnival was in February and Trump was still publicly saying everything was under control and to go on with life as normal while getting briefings from the CDC that there would be a pandemic in the USA
