I don't vote because it doesn't count (economist mindset). The First and last presidential election I voted in was Bush. At the time I affiliated with the Republican party. The federal government expanded dramatically under that administration, and there was the whole WMD mistake. Finally, all of the terrorists came from Saudi Arabia, but we didn't put their feet to the fire for that.

Also, I'm in Oregon, which means the electoral college points will go to whatever candidate has a D in their title. If I want someone with a D in their title to be president, I have to do nothing for the state to choose that. If I want anyone else, it's pointless to try.

The Ds and the Rs will all expand federal government and balloon our debt, so they are indistinguishable from each other. Not interested in quibbling over which letter is in the title of the corrupt politician in office.
