Are you daring to imply that privatization can be bad, and that in some industries the profit motive is worse? For shame!
It does seem odd, buying a company that's trying to produce an inexpensive product for the feds, then shutting down that program because it's not profitable. You'd almost think it was going to hurt the profits of their existing equipment lines. Me? I live on a dead end road, so I'm glad the town owns the snowplows. My little street wouldn't be profitable to plow. And I really hope that if I need a ventilator this year it's before the rush.
I know Charles Dockendorff and Robert White probably have ventilators in their basements, but they deserve to need them this spring. Because they're a big part of why many other people who will need them won't have them.
