Heat shield was finished yesterday. Here it is "polished" and reinstalled. 200 grit, then 1500 grit, then 2000 grit, then a 3000 grit polishing pad and rubbing compound.

Today was very busy for work (online teaching and meetings these days). But beginning tomorrow evening I will get to an old unfinished project of using this film I bought on the windshield for solar heat gain mitigation.

Gotta go back into "Zoomlandia" for another meeting...

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color.
