That's the point that I'm making, that people aren't rational, and marketing exists because of this. Why do people buy Clorox bleach? Why do people buy name brand drugs rather than generic? Even doctors will buy name brand drugs over generic even though they know the products are identical. Then there's the fact that "healing crystals" and "therapy magnets" exist. Marketing is everything, and the actual product has little to do with anything.
