Update on THREE projects

A three in one deal! Three updates in one post!

1) AERO WHEEL COVER repair

BEFORE:

AFTER:

2) DAUGHTER'S BMW E90 auto transmission flush: daughter & I got the damned fill plug out finally (multiple applications of PB Blaster over maybe 10 or 12 days and a good breaker bar did it). With more effort than should be necessary, the BMW let us replace and add fluid and now the transmission shifts out of 1st and 2cd almost like new. Hell yeah! No more bump/shudder shifts! And she learnin'!

3) WINDSHIELD TINT on my "Black & Green" eco rat: no progress since last time.

See my car's mod & maintenance thread and my electric bicycle's thread for ongoing projects. I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
