Well, it wouldn't be the first time that someone with autism lived in the White House [and was kept away from cameras]. I have no idea about the current one, but I always wish that I could hire a speech therapist to work with him 10, 20, or even 40 hours a week. I have no idea how much that would help someone in his thirties, but I always wonder what would happen if you had an SLPA that couldn't get into grad school get teaching credentials and teach a kindergartener with autism.
Do you think they would clearly progress faster than a similar kid with a one-on-one aid without any special training?
If not, that would be a huge waste of resources!
