Well, it wouldn't be the first time that someone with autism lived in the White House [and was kept away from cameras]. I have no idea about the current one, but I always wish that I could hire a speech therapist to work with him 10, 20, or even 40 hours a week. I have no idea how much that would help someone in his thirties, but I always wonder what would happen if you had an SLPA that couldn't get into grad school get teaching credentials and teach a kindergartener with autism.
Do you think they would clearly progress faster than a similar kid with a one-on-one aid without any special training?
If not, that would be a huge waste of resources!

I've seen how the DOD prioritizes TP. If we put them in charge of it then the coming shortages will make the last month look like paradise.

Welp, the socialism bucks are starting to roll in. Including the stimulus check, my wife and I have received just a hair under $8,000 so far.

$0 from the government (aside from my pay) and zero wives, while some guys not too far from me have multiple wives!

COVID-19 Projections was saying that Arizona would not peak until April 26th, but the last time that it updated it said the 30th. However, now it says we peaked today, while Arizona Department of Health Services says that we will not peak until May 22nd(!), and the federal model says new-models-arizona-may-reach-coronavirus-peak-in-may-june
Okay. It always bothers me that headlines say things like "Xist is smart, handsome." Clearly they are using the comma like an ampersand, but are saving all of the money from all of the spaces they are eliminating?!
Commas don't mean "Or!"

I expect projections to contain wide margins of error until near the end. There's lots of theory about exactly what it is we're contending with, how easily it spreads, what measures are effective, the level of adherence to guidelines people will follow, and hundreds of other things.
