Yeah they're just "shelving it", until they can quietly kill it later on with out anyone noticing.

That's Ford canceling their relationship with Rivian, Rivian will still release their truck. I still would bet on it beating Tesla to market. Ford is just dropping their partnership for 3 reasons. They can just do their own. Gas is $1.70/gal nationwide. And new car sales have been hit hard, and production has mostly gone to zero.
