From my fuel log: I parked weirdly because of the vehicle in front of me and barely reached the nozzle into the filler neck, but not all of the way in, and only when I pulled on the hose.
Guys, don't do that. Yes, it sounds different as it fills, and you should be able to hear when it is nearly full, but I must have been contemplating my navel or something, because suddenly there was gas all over the concrete!
I haven't done that since Germany!
