The Elise was on my list back when I had to replace my totalled Subaru Legacy. Panel gaps would have been a minor annoyance compared to other "features" of the car. Also on my list back then:

Chevy Metro
Corolla
DeLorean
Tacoma
Outback
Lexus IS250

Kinda all over the place. Ended up getting the TSX. Can't believe it's been a decade already.
