Again though, at 18:1 AFR, this chart suggests NOx is lower than at 14.7:1 and so is CO2. Why isn't 18:1 lean burn common place in contemporary cars? Or is it maybe common and not touted like in the old days of the 90s and early 00s?

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
